A Noble Death

With flickering light, the Candle in the corner of a room

I cherish these words on a letter before time expires soon

My lads sleep on the cold floor as what waits is doom

When the nation devours their flesh with hailing bullets

As they smile their last to the firing squad

Of me who are more condemned than the dying

Prisoners who believe a better place awaits

From this rotten corrupt world that kills his son

More than it deserves to hang the real culprits

Of the circle of corrupt and undeserving top official

But I know my words on this letter will live forever

Because everyone generation will know me by this title

On my epitaph that the government ‘kills her son’
