The domains of leadership competency

(APN Interview)
Interview an APN about their role transition and the role development phases that they have experienced. Ask for specific descriptions of specific situations at different points in their practice. For example, discuss a problem when they first began practicing in an APN role, another at six months, and another at one year, and so on. Compare these descriptions with the role development phases described in the chapter.
OR
Find a reading in your specialty that exemplifies the domains of leadership competency OR collaboration competency OR think about an experience that you have with an APN in which you observed the leadership competency in action.

RUBRIC CRITERIA APN INTERVIEW:
• Introduction and purpose of the paper assignment clearly stated 10%
• Content is informative with mainly supportive details 40%
• Organization – The paper is well organized with paragraphs with main thoughts 30%
• Paper is written in APA format with citations and references 10%
• Writing mechanics- few or no errors, spelling, grammar, etc.
